Project overview
Northern Palate delivers local produce from small Norwegian farms. The stories behind the producers are the actual selling point, but they were buried in a standard webshop. We built a solution where producer profiles are part of the buying experience rather than a subpage nobody finds.
Challenges
- Seasonal goods with availability that varies by producer

- A seasonal calendar that automatically hides sold-out goods
- A postcode check that shows cut-off and price before adding to basket
- Producer profiles linked directly from every product
- An image pipeline with modern formats and fixed aspect ratios
